A rural retreat on Banks Peninsula that pairs a robust timber structure with a pared-back material palette. The building is oriented to shelter from the exposed coastal conditions of Lavericks Bay while framing views out across the water. It featured in the 2026 Timber Design Awards for single-family homes.
