Privacy Policy

Last updated 2026

This policy explains what information Korbel collects, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It is written to be readable. If anything is unclear, contact us and we will explain.

What we collect

When you create an account we store your email address and the profile details you give us, such as a display name and, for companies, a company name. When you post a comment, submit a product or claim a project, we store what you submitted so it can appear on the site.

How we use it

We use your information to run your account, show your contributions, review company submissions before they go live, and keep the platform secure. We do not sell your personal information.

Where it is stored

Account and content data is held with our hosting and database providers under their own security controls. Passwords are handled by our authentication provider and are never visible to us.

Your choices

You can edit your profile at any time from your account page, and you can ask us to delete your account and the content tied to it. Some records may be kept where we are required to for legal or security reasons.

Contact

Questions about privacy can be sent to the Korbel team through the contact details on our site.
