Paerātā Railway Station sits on the main trunk line about 3 km north of Pukekohe and serves the new Paerātā Rise neighbourhood. An earlier station about a kilometre to the south closed to passengers in 1972. The station has two side platforms and a large park-and-ride with 350 spaces, along with bike and motorbike parking and pick-up and drop-off areas. A bus interchange connects it with new routes to Paerātā Rise, Ramarama, Waiuku, Glenbrook and Pukekohe. It was officially opened on 1 August 2026, and trains began stopping the next day. Together with Drury station, it cost about $300 million.
