The Production and Post-Production Building is the main new building in the University of Canterbury's Kōawa digital screen precinct at the former Dovedale campus. It brings a 426 m² sound stage, edit suites, a sound mix studio, a colour grading suite, production offices, a screening room and a secure backlot under one roof, for teaching and for commercial hire. The building reached practical completion in December 2025 and opened in early 2026. In June 2026 it won the education category at the Property Council New Zealand awards.
